This years top toys

Is it just me, or do the toys that are most popular this Christmas seem to be creating an atmosphere of isolation for our children. Not only are the new toys replacing imagination, they are also replacing other children as playmates. First of all, there is the robo dog, then there is the comeback of Furby. If that isn't enough we have the introduction of pixel chix and then there are Iz, and IDog. These toys are all high demand Christmas wants this year and yet not one of them really encourages physical activity, interaction with other children, or a true use of imagination. It's really kind of sad. We danced with our stuffed dogs as children rather than buying a dog that does the dancing for us. As you can guess my children will not be finding any of these under our tree this year. We want toys that encourage them to play with others, get off the couch, and use their imaginiations. I hope that your children will have lots of joy to find beneath the Christmas tree.
